The Story


Founded in the 1950s, The massive Othaya Farmers' Cooperative Society (FCS) has over 15,000 members and just under 2000 ha of coffee farms. The Mahiga Factory, a part of the Othaya FCS, works with about 500 small farmers who have a total of less than 100 ha of farmland. 

Sourced from our partners at Genuine Origin who work directly with farmers around the world providing them with resources and training using the Voldcafe Way training tools.

V60 Pour over
Ground fine - H2 on our Baratza Vario, 12-15 on the Baratza Encore
300ml water at 203 degrees F
Should take 1:30-1:50 to brew
