The Marimira Factory is located in Murang’a County, Kenya, an area known for its fertile farming soil and cool climate, and is the ancestral home of the Kikuyu people. Here, coffee is a key cash crop, and the central region is a major producer for one of Kenya’s most important exports.
Marimira Factory serves over 600 smallholders, with each producer farming around 0.4 hectares each. The factory is part of the Iyego Farmers Cooperative Society and has 11 additional mills to produce coffee in its network.

This is a lighter roast coffee with a medium body and bright notes of stone fruit and blackberry. We highly recommend this in a pour over like the V60 or in an Aeropress.
