Caramel flavors with just a hint of citrus at the finish and an amazing apricot aroma

A french press will really bring out the amazing body of this coffee. Pour overs accentuate the bright citrus finish. We recommend the following recipe for our French Press users: 32g of coarse ground coffee, 610g of filtered water at 202 degrees and 4 minutes brew time.

The Story Behind this Coffee

This coffee is processed at the Worka plant in the Kochere region of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The processing plant is at an elevation of 1855m and over 3500 farmers in the area bring their coffee to this plant to be processed. The coffee is a wet processed coffee that gives you a very clean tasting cup.

Sorting Coffee in EthiopiaAll of the Ethiopian coffees we roast come from Dominion Coffee Importers. Dominion is directly involved with the New Covenant Foundation (NCF). Both of these organizations are actively involved in transforming communities Ethiopia.

One aspect of NCF's outreach is raising leaders that can minister to their own communities. Through church planting, health and education initiatives and business training, NCF actively seeks to make the people in the communities that they reach self sustaining. Not only financially, but also spiritually, educationally and in many other ways. The goal is to make people self sufficient - not to give them a handout.

On the coffee front, teaching improved organic and sustainable agricultural methods and helping to finance improved equipment are among only a few ways to grow community.
